I’m David, the founder of Automatic. I started this journey back in 2019, building websites and wiring up simple Zapier automations. At the time, my goal was straightforward: help small businesses save time by connecting the tools they already used. It was scrappy, experimental, and very hands-on.
As I worked with more clients, the projects grew in scope. I moved from single workflows into full automation systems that could run an entire business behind the scenes. That shift showed me the real power of automation—not just as a convenience, but as a foundation for growth.
A couple years in, I discovered Bubble, and it completely changed the game. With Bubble, I could go beyond stitching tools together and actually build custom applications. Automatic spent the next phase of its life designing and shipping software for clients who needed real products, not just processes. This period taught me speed, creativity, and how to build things that scale without the overhead of traditional software development.
Now, Automatic has entered its next evolution: artificial intelligence. Today I focus on helping small and mid-sized businesses unlock the potential of AI. That means building AI-powered apps, designing workflows that cut hours of busywork, and creating systems that are secure, practical, and tied directly to results.
