Built by a builder, not a strategy shop.
Automatic builds and runs AI agents for specialty trade contractors. We find the recurring task burning hours, build one agent for it, connect it to your tools, and manage it after launch.
We built this for ourselves first.
Before Automatic existed as a service, it was the internal operating layer we built to run our own company. It scans email, preps for meetings, tracks revenue, reviews code, drafts client work, and flags what we're forgetting. After a year of running on it, the pattern was obvious: most owner-led businesses don't need another tool. They need someone to wire AI into how the team already works.
So that's what we build for trade contractors: one agent for one task, fully managed. No platform to learn, no dashboard to babysit. We stay close through the first 14 days and operate the agent after it's live.
How we think about the work.
Trade contractors already have the software they need. What's missing is the AI layer that connects the tools, understands the workflow, and handles repeat work with human review.
AI fails most teams because nobody wires it into how the company actually works. Map the operation first. The tools come after.
Autopilots, not copilots. Useful automation keeps a human on the approval, not on the keyboard for every step.
One agent that owns a real task beats a platform full of features nobody uses. We ship the one, then run it.
David-led by design.
Automatic is intentionally small. You work directly with David Flynn — a technical product leader who has shipped 80+ products — from strategy through build and ongoing operations. Same person on the call, same person on the keyboard, same person operating the system after it's live.
Headquartered in Nashville, working with operators across the country. Our local arm is NashvilleAI.Studio. Legally, Automatic operates as Unbridled, LLC.
Twenty minutes. We find the task.
A free 20-minute call. We name the task worth handing to an agent and decide together whether it's a fit.
